Tucked away in the corner of a house in Napier is a creative hub that reveals an industrious nature, a curious mind and hands that can be turned to many and varied inspired pursuits.

It’s difficult to pin down exactly how to label Ngaio Blackwood, so vast is her array of endeavours. But perhaps her calling card would simply read “artist” – to list all her skills would take up too much space.
