The cold weather is here and there’s nothing better than a hot bath to warm your bones. Make this warming spice recipe ahead of time for your next bath.

This recipe is for a warming spice bath, which is guaranteed to leave you feeling toasty and cosy.

Ingredients

1 cup of port or red wine

8 crushed cloves

1⁄4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 stick cinnamon

2 slices orange, unpeeled

Method

Put all the ingredients into a small pot with a tight-fitting lid and gently heat, then set aside for 24 hours. Strain the liquid into a hot bath.
