Face the winter season head on and boost your immunity with this sage-packed tonic recipe.

Well-known in the old days as a healing herb, sage is famous for strengthening the immune system.

To make your own immunity sage, simply:

1. Chop up a few handfuls of fresh sage and put in a large glass jar.

2. Cover with vodka and put on the lid.

3. Keep in a cool, dark place for two weeks, shaking every day.

4. Strain the tincture into a glass container and gargle with this at the first sign of a cold.
